How do I clean my Denture Buddy removal tool?Rinse the Tool: After using your denture removal tool, rinse it thoroughly under running warm water. Soapy Water Bath: Fill a clean basin or container with warm water and add a small amount of mild hand soap. Soak and Scrub: Submerge the denture removal tool in the soapy water and let it soak for a few minutes. This will help to loosen any remaining debris. After soaking, use a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently scrub the tool, paying attention to all its surfaces. Be thorough but gentle to avoid damaging the tool. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse the tool under running water to remove any soap residue. Sanitize (Optional): If you prefer, you can use a denture cleaning solution to further sanitize the tool. Follow the instructions on the cleaning solution's packaging for the correct dilution and soaking time. Dry: After cleaning and rinsing, allow the denture removal tool to air dry on a clean, dry towel or paper towel. Make sure it is completely dry before using it again. Store: Store your clean and dry denture removal tool in a clean and dry place.

How do I clean my overdentures or dentures?Follow these simple steps: Rinse Dentures: Before you start cleaning, rinse your dentures under running water to remove any loose debris and food particles. Use the Right Brush: Avoid using a regular toothbrush, as its bristles can be too abrasive and may scratch the denture's surface. Instead, use a denture brush or a soft-bristle toothbrush. Cleaning Solution: Apply a small amount of mild hand soap or denture cleaning solution to your brush. Avoid using regular toothpaste, as it can be abrasive and damage the denture material. We recommend using our 100% natural denture cleaning paste. Gentle Brushing: Gently brush all the surfaces of your dentures, including the teeth, pink acrylic base, and any metal or attachments. Be thorough but gentle to avoid scratching the denture. Pay extra attention to areas with stains or buildup. Rinse Thoroughly: After brushing, rinse the dentures again under running water to remove any remaining cleaning solution or soap.

Can I sleep with my overdentures, or should I remove them at night? Most dentists recommend removing overdentures at night for a number of reasons, such as for Oral Hygiene, to provide rest for underlying oral tissues (i.e. gums and jawbone), and for longevity of the overdentures. However individual cases may vary. Some patients may have specific conditions that require them to wear their overdentures at night. In such cases, it's important for the patient to follow their dentist's personalized advice.
